Antique rustic Naga coffee table | Arushi

An orginal antique (circa 1900) Naga daybed from Nagaland, North East India, repurposed as a striking low coffee table.

This remarkable table is hewn from a single piece of timber (the legs and top are from a single tree trunk)

Hand-carved from dark wood with an authentic weathered patina that speaks to over a century of use, celebrating imperfections rather than concealing its provenance.

The timber is soft and tactile, its irregular top tapering naturally from 61cm to 58cm.

Chunky legs and raw edges create a sculptural presence suited to wabi-sabi and organic interiors.

Originally used for seating and rest in village homes and communal morungs, this piece carries the tactile marks of daily life.

Courier Delivery

Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier as this item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

This service is undertaken by a one man delivery service.

Please be prepared to help to move the item from the van or lorry to just inside your door. When delivery takes place it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.  

The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps to access your property.

You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.

After the courier has left you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.

Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
