A unique piece, it has been sympathetically and fully restored. The stunning timbers have been partially stripped back by hand to allow the wood to show through. The remains of the original paintwork still feature - part of its vintage appeal. Smooth to the touch the timbers have a subtly distressed finish, and feature a wonderful rustic crackled paint finish above the stunning aged patinated wood.

Crafted from solid timber, it has all the character you would expect from a piece of this age. Soft, tactile and irresistibly smooth to the touch, its lovely weathered appearance features bumps, dings and rustic details that in our opinion only make it more lovely. Imperfections and historic marks are left on show to celebrate the age and history of the item.
