Primitive vintage painted blanket box | Ila

Hand made in a primitive way with rustic planks this vintage blanket box was found in Africa and it is over 60 years old.

Please expect rustic primitive condition with plentiful vintage character and imperfections.

This is a hand crafted artisan product probably made from reclaimed scraps of timber and used in a fruit and vegetable market.  This is not a fine piece of furniture, it's charm is in it's roughly hewn timbers and original colourful paintwork.

Please note this box has a slightly bowed back and a very rustic repair to the base in chipboard.
